He was born in Udaipur and brought up in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, in a Rajput family. He started his career in Sales with Eli Lilly Ranbaxy Ltd, after completing graduation from Jodhpur and took a 2-year hiatus to finish his management education from ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad. He shifted to Marketing; post his management education in Biological Evans Ltd., Hyderabad in 2004 and since then has traversed in various Companies namely Intas, Zydus, Abbott and was head of specialty division in Micro Labs. Ltd., before he quit the clichéd corporate life, to venture out on his own and pursue his calling.
He credits himself to working and learning through his career of professional life, by managing brands in the acute as well as chronic business. He has expertise in customer-centric initiatives and patient-management activities in the chronic business to handling brands in mature markets as well as growth phase of PLC. He has worked extensively for patient-care, in the field of Diabetes, Epilepsy, Depressive disorder/s. He has worked on market access and affordability of life-saving medicines, to improve patient-lives.
He has won numerous awards and is proud of winning an award in “Rural Marketing”, bestowed upon by the “Rural Marketing Association of India (RMAI)”, 4th edition 2012, during his stint with Abbott India Limited, Mumbai. This award was for improving market access and patient-care in the field of epilepsy-care.
A health-freak to the core, he loves playing Table Tennis, Tennis, Swimming and believes he was born to be a “RUNNER”. He is a foodie to the core and believes in living life to the fullest. He is especially fond of reading biographies and is a movie aficionado as well.
